I could even bear to watch Saturday Night's game against the raiders as Panthers new hooker, Kevin Kingston Debuted for them. After watching that match i know for a fact that the decision in letting Kevin Kingston go was a mighty huge mistake. To be honest, the way Kingston played yesterday was better than Matt keating has ever played in one night AND! when Kevin Kingston was in the eels, he was sitll playing better than Matt Keating. I do not know what the board of directors where thinking when they let him go.

Blame the salary cap. I'm pretty sure the powers to be would have loved to have kept Kingston, but unfortunately we can't afford everyone and sometimes tough decisions have to be made. I think you will find that Matt Keating was already under contract. Having said that, Kingston did have an outstanding game last night and will be a terrific buy for the Panthers. I wish him well.
I agree. Kevin for mine was the most under rated player of our 2009 team. I would have preferred him over the Keating boys as well as Robson. Kevin plays a role which is not too different when PJ Marsh was playing at his prime. A bench dynamite. Good luck to the Panthers. They have a star in the making
In offense, in every team the most important player in the offensive lineup, is ALWAYS the hooker:
The hooker finds gaps.
The hooker finds offsides and claims penalties for the teams.
The hooker runs out of dummy half and gains plenty of meters most of the times.
The hooker is the first pass to a set play and decides which option is best.
The hooker changes the speed of the game.
To me the hooker quality is what we lack in, MK is great, but i think we need to hookers, KK is not a hooker and shouldn't be playing as a reserve hooker, he should be 5/8 and Morts should be Halfback, Robbo's gotta go. In my opinion, we should have a new starting hooker and have MK coming on off the bench. Maybe we should look into our juniors, we can find plenty of talent in our junior comps that we should keep because too many players from the Parramatta junior's are switching sides.
yeah agreed, probably not origin just year, but in the near future yes. I think he will definatley play for city country team, i dont know which he is from lol
Robbo is doing the basics, u can get any halfback coming through the ranks and they can do the same thing, i agree, defensively he is great. Not many halfbacks can tackle like that, but we need a good quality halfback that can set up more plays and put more people through holes every game, rather then robbo putting himself through whole once in a blue moon. Hence Jarryd Hayne stepping up and being the playmaker. I see it that Jarryd Hayne is pushing himself too hard, he is playing two roles. Fullback and the teams playmaker, he is setting up near to all our tries ie: burts try on the weekend, that is what the halfback should be doing, making that pass while Jarryd is in the depth of the backline as another option for the halfback to chose from.

thanks
We didn't want to lose him, he didn't wanna leave
we had 7 players willing to take paycuts to keep him but the nrl rejected it
