Kenny the Rock Edwards

I know Hayne and sandow will get a lot of the wraps for the second half comeback but i'd like to just pay a special mention to Kenny Edwards. Gee he was good again tonight, has consistently been in our top 3 players nearly every week. It amazes how BA doesn't think he could play sefs link man role. But him and Norman are striking up a nice combo on the edge so it may pay to persist with him out there. Espeicallyl without Mau.

Kenny has been in great form this year and between him and Mau, we have a very good second row combination going.

Another preseason under their belt, and the rest of the team for that matter, i think we will start to see a real premiership contending team. Not that i think this season is over yet but we are fighting an up hill battle with our for and against.

Agreed, I think that when his partner in crime Manu Ma'u is back we will have a killer back row with Kenny shifting to lock and Moeroa and Ma'u in the back row.

I've said it elsewhere but after what I saw last year I was almost certain that Edwards would be the break out star in 2014 while M'au would be a handy first grader. I am extremely happy that Manu has well and truly exceeded my expectations but I believe we are only just now getting a real look at what Edwards can bring to our team.
