Kenny Edwards

Go listen to Kenny Edwards interview on the Locker Room. Before he was sacked he said “2019 was meant to be my big pay” or something along those lines but getting sacked (for he reckons was false claims by the police who is now suing) cost him that. Reckons he was due to be on 500k next year.Meaning Kenny was another one of the players who were due to be on back ended deals next year.

  • Ok
  • 500k is way overs.
    • Because he got unders in the early years of the contract. You have to average the cost across the length of the contract.

  • Back ended contracts are the only way for Sydney clubs to build a premiership window. Every club does it and they don't do it because it's a bad idea. Stop carrying on like back-ended contracts have no purpose.

  • Backending contracts of known dropkicks if bloody clever work. Chances are you can ditch them for bad behaviour before they collect.

    • It's also why clubs have to be careful frontoading contracts. I wonder how many players trying to get out of the final year or two of a contract got a nice fat signing bonus up front.

      • And probably unintended in this instance as BA loved Kenny and went in to bat for him many times before he finally did the straw that broke the camels toe oh err ....back. Camels back.

        • You couldn't say he didn't give Kenny enough chances.

  • Had a drink with Kenny once at Parra leagues top bloke
  • I don't believe Kenny's story at all like. Kenny also forgot to mention he didn't tell the club of the incident for 2 weeks and only told them when it hit the media.

He says he probably would of gotten sacked, he would of been sacked 100%, he was on his last ever chance.

LB replied to Adrian Bowles's discussion Brad Arthur press conference
"Him getting antsy and simply annoyed showed his voice is falling on death ears and he is losing them at a rapid pace. He wont resign as he is too proud but i think that message could be "If you want me here, show everyone"."

Simon Priestly replied to jamie's discussion Lussick only back on the 4th tackle.
"You would think that a hooker that's not the best in attack, would maybe be in the side because of his defensive ability or vice versa.
But Lussick is garbage in attack and an absolute turnstile in defence. He offers absolutely nothing to this…"
