  • My Dad just sent me the following in an email. I thought I'd share...

    "He was my hero when I was about 14 and following the mighty Eels. One of his nicknames was bucket because he never dropped the ball. When he played in England a Pommy bookmaker took bets on him dropping the high ball and never paid out over several seasons. He was an ornament to the game. When you think of blokes like him you have to wonder how a drop-kick like Andrew Johns can remain an immortal."
