Personally I don't really mind this..his a rocks and diamonds player.Liability in defence and to many errors a game.Just a backup player at best.with sua taking his spot this is what our 27 side will prob look like before future signings and what we know now.

Happy for Kelma to go but I do prefer him over KitKat i believe Kelma is more effective off the bench
Tuilagi just a liability defensively on the edge and we got promising juniors coming through like jezia and samrani can give it a good crack.Id personally like to see Kelma come of bench through the middle like a Sitili type role and move Jack Williams to an edge.Where he works best

will be my best pick, that's hot
Hmmm... I know his defence is very questionable at times, especially around effort areas & getting to his feet, but, he has also been vilified for Moses' defence this season which has dropped off significantly.
Kelma single handidly brought us back into the game & was the difference against the Broncos. His runs have been great, imo only, this season.
But, defence is everything as we know, maybe JR has seen enough & if that's the case, understandable.
Just hope Kelma isn't choosing too / being forced out due to Moses.
One good game in two years doesn't mean anything
He's had quite a few good games, even defensively, and every time it feels like the 'break-out game', but yeah, to your point, they're always surrounded by inconsistency & costly mistakes / lapses.
He's a bit of an enigma.
With Su'a coming, Katounga, and Williams needing to be on an edge, this makes sense.
Tuilagi is not consistent enough to displace the incoming Su'A from right edge backrower but I do think Tuilagi's "ceiling" is higher than he has shown to date.
Few is the word yes
Thank you, Cheif. I feel like I finally passed an exam here.
NOS, I don't see much evidence of Moses' defense having "dropped off significantly". Any stats? Identify further instances like the 1-on-1 miss on Kini vs Titans? There have been at least three games where Moses' right edge has been directly impacted by in-game injuries and sin bins and Moses has been defacto centre and busted a gut
Yep, thats very fair, Daz.
Dropped ‘significantly' is harsh & likely unfair, I retract.
I haven't looked at the stats as defensively they can be too misleading.
Could be wrong, but feel he’s been missing 1-1 tackles & and being left on the ground more this season... He's usually such a great defender so it's just surprised at times & have taken note.
Against Ice Papalli he was ran over a few times, leaving Kelma to cover. Ice also scored a try past him, I am pretty sure? He was ran over a few times V the Titans, Kini aside, and think KPP also ran over him in the Tigers game.
Don’t get me wrong Daz, these aren’t easy attackers to stop, but Mitch is usually so reliable there.
But to your point, he is clearly injured, and his combinations have been a revolving door, so I was judging unfairly - apologies Mitch.
But Daz, imo, Mitch doesn't seem himself / as focused & that usually shows in defense - thats just how ive seen it live, and again, could be wrong.
