Kelma to explore other options

Personally I don't really mind this..his a rocks and diamonds player.Liability in defence and to many errors a game.Just a backup player at best.with sua taking his spot this is what our 27 side will prob look like before future signings and what we know now.

        • Most of his first grade games came last year when really he shouldn't have been playing first grade yet, well not as much as he did at least.

He is very raw and should have been slowly introduced to first grade over last season and this but the club is in such a poor position he was fast tracked.

I'm not giving up on him yet, whilst I don't think he is ever going to be a star i think he could develop into a consistent first grader that occasionally has a big game.

          • He has also played this full year outside of Pezet which is horrible.

  • If we're signing SuA then of course he's going. Even if we're not I think I'd rather throw Latu or play Williams than him.

He's not bad, Kelma, but he really still has too many brain farts for someone of his experience.

  • Where do we need to recruit? List of player and where we have cover and where we dont. Brackets are the cover player

    1. Iongi (Twiddle)

    2. need to sign (Bailey simmonson)

3 Will Penisini (needs someone putting pressure on him)

    4. Samrani (needs pressure, not sure how long Kelly is signed for)

    5 JAC (Twiddle)

    6. Lorenzo has to be ready( Papali/ Junior)

    7. Moses ( Journeyman or Volk)

    8. Tuivati ( need to sign 2 props)

    9. Ryley (tds)

10 Junior ( like tui we need 2 x genuine props as cover

11 Sua (hopefully Latu Williams Guymer Funa Luta Kit Kat can cover 2 back rower and bench rotations)

    12 Kit Kat (as above)

13 Hopgood ( Walker, Guymer, could use Paulo, Doorey)

    14 TDS (Ryley)

    15 Walker

16 Need 2 x props plus teacum brown

17 one of the back rowers

as it stands I think we desperately need 2 props and a quality winger (Bailey just too one dimensional)

    • I would argue two middles, a Centre and Winger. Then depth wise a Halfback, Hooker and perhaps another back.

      • I think in 2027 Fletcher, Coinakis and Hudson maybe would move to cup so that's 7 and 9 covered. Volkman might stay too.

We need a middle and a left center. Then we can see. I don't generally believe in signing depth as that's why your juniours are for in general.

        • Coinakis maybe as a 3rd hooker, but I wouldn't rely on Fletcher being our back-up Halfback. Would rather one with some NRL experience, particularly if Talataina is at 6.

Thats what made Hawkins valuable last year, he played some FG before coming here.

I feel these juniors should step up to cup

      • I'm a big fan of Samrani at centre, he's physical and he's strong. If I'm looking at a centre it probably needs to be the best young reserve grader chomping at the bit for a crack at 1st grade. We desperately need a winger that can get some yardage going but can also create at the other end whether it's in the air or tackle busting. Just another Semi Radradra if you don't mind lol

  • An opposing club that picks him up thinks our coaching and defensive systems are the issue or otherwise they are passing. Just like how Penrith took blaize Talagi despite him being garbage in defence with us. But as we saw against bulldogs Penrith coaches havent improved him at all.
