In our darkest of times, it's the passion of the fans that show the light at the end of the tunnel. It's the chant of the blue and gold army that can lift the team. I've been questioning my faith in the team lately and the prospect of us finishing with the wooden spoon. That was until I talked to my grandfather who has supported the Eels since 56. He was there in the great club's infancy and went through what we're going through now year after year. He followed that side for 22 years until the Eels made a grand final and 26 years before they won a premiership. He said it would've been easy to give up then and support another team but he kept the faith. We've got to be realistic. The team's in a position that seemingly is impossible to get out of in the foreseeable future. But at the end of a storm there's a golden sky. The team needs our support more than ever. I'm asking for the fans to keep the faith in the team for the remainder of the season. It'd be great to see a sea of blue and gold on monday night against the Sharks.
