Kangaroos squad

So the squad has been announced for the upcoming test and to be honest their are a few selections which raise some eyebrows. Whatever happened to picking a team on form the fact darius boyd is at fullback instead of james tedesco is a joke in itself, darius has played well but tedesco is killing it in an awfully average team. Im not trying to sound biased here but beau scott has been one of the most dominating back rowers in the comp his defence and the attitude he has shown this year is surely enough to bag himself a bench spot. Would love to hear your thoughts.http://m.nrl.com/kangaroos-team-named-to-face-nz/tabid/10874/newsid/95266/default.aspx

  • How jennings is 19th man is a deadset joke. And Beau is the most inform back rower in the comp.
    • Agreed. I do not how you pick Dugan as a Centre ahead of him.
    • Spot on Leith, Dugans not even a world class Centre. I would have had Jennings in and Oates or Mansour in for Ferguson.
    • Agreed re Corey Oates and Josh Mansour - more deserving than Ferguson. They've been consistently quality this season thus far.
  • Do you want us to win mate? Boyd's combination works well with the halves and although Scott's defense is incredible his attack does not warrant a Kangaroo's jersey.

It's not all about form. There has been several QLD players selected on combinations and the roles they play in the team and not so much season form.

Looks like a good team IMO.

    • I understand what your saying but we arent ranked number 1 anymore and the kiwis have it over us so why wouldnt you go off form?
  • Representative selection when it comes to the kangaroos are often politically based rather then anything to do with form.
  • How the hell Gallen gets picked is the real joke.

Talk about rewarding a mediocre hog.

  • Ferguson should not be there. He is a defensive liability of the first order. And why isnt Klemmer there?

    • Agree Speedy. He's not even the best winger at the Roosters...

"I did modern day as 1998 onwards as I didn't see them play, as some here haven't. Where I believe majority of people here have seen all the modern day players play.
Plus it frees up some spots like we all know who 5/8 will be but now no idea."
