J.Wright The Crab

I mean seriously... they spread it wide and wright gets it and runs inside the whole night, come on we must have someone better. yeah yeah we won the game but Tom Humble would of been a better centre. Don't ya think??

  • when we have an offensive overlap why would u straighten the play?
  • Agree totally, he wasted so many attacking moves by doing that, once he has the ball he cant seem to let ti go!!
  • Please ! Jono Wright was brilliant last night. Humble is a good player but a small target in our defensive line.

Jono reminds me of another great Eel crab : BEN SMITH and he goes OK
  • Come On you blokes who hate Jono!

    Jono "Dun good"!

Just be gracious when Jono has a good game and say "well done Jono"

Even THE_ROCK aka Sinbad praised Luke Burt last night and nobody here has hated a player more than sinbad has hated Luke.

So just Suck it up and be honest, because Jono did OK!
  • I think Wright had one of his best games of the year! He does not deserve to be dropped after his perfomance..

He did go inside a lot, but it wasn't necessarily a bad thing. He was giving the team options by straightening up, dummy half then has the option to go left or right. He did flirt with the sidelines a few times, so it wasn't like he went inside all the time, but yeah, he did go inside a lot of the times..
  • The Broncos have a sliding defence and were sliding well all last night - Jono's straightening would have kept them them in two minds about sliding too fast thus giving that bit extra breathing space to Inu (see his try - no one sliding then!) I put that down to a great pass by Jarryd and Jono's previous straight runs - they were looking for him going straight but Jarryd cut him out!
  • Can't see why anyone would have a go at him or want him moved on. He fills a hole well, I imagine is not breaking our budget and he seems the type of player that could actually make a handy little career for himself.

When you take into cosideration that he has had about 10 NRL games, nearly half of those have been pretty important ones he has managed to provide somthing for the team in a handful of those.

His game last night was solid at worst!?
  • I thought Wright looked the most enthusiastic last night.
  • J.Wright played his best game of the season last night, and in my opinion is putting heaps of pressure on Inu to keep his spot when tahu comes back. Inu is the one people should be bagging more then wright. Wright is just there because we have nobody else. If we were full strength Wright wouldnt be in our side neither would inu, so stop bagging him.
  • I see a move to the forwards coming up for Jono. Beef him up and have him hitting the line straight with that ability to off load very dangerous.
