It's a nothing story as usual at this time of year but we haven't had a good Dugan bashing blog for a while. I reckon Hayne, Stewart and Gordon have all got to be ahead of Dugan at this point for the 1 jersey.

Game two he was pretty good i agree. Game three less so. I'd describe him as solid and reliable but in Origin is that enough? I'd really want to be using words like "explosive" and "dangerous" - not words that he often generates these days.
Dugan is still really untested for mine, seems delicate. I'll be at skilled park on Saturday night and I'll be really interested in how he goes.
Seriously, if Ricky is going to overlook Hayne because he wants a traditional fullback Brett Stewart in my view is on par with Slater in most facets. Dugan is a league below both of them.
Dugan is not half as good as the media make him out to be, he made one tackle on Dave Taylor a few years back and the media have been talking him up every since.

Dugan played pretty solid in 2010 when canberra had there run to finals,he showed some promise to be rep quality.
My beef is he was never ready for Origin in 2011, and they should not of concided him to 2012. Hayne has only played 1.5 games at fullback for New South Wales and was rated equal with Gallen on his performances. Hayne deserved all 3 games in 2011 at fullback to be given a fair go, if he failed or did not stand up to the challenge then Dugan playing well would of "earned" a spot in 2012.
"Good point, Flow Basket. I think he would kill it in Union. I don't think Parra should go near him. Too many other talented young players that I would rather see in the blue and gold. Whyte from Roosters for starters. I think he is off contract end…"
"I've never really rated David Fifita or understood the hype to be honest. I know a lot of people might have a go at me on here but whenever he plays the commentators go "Look out, it's big David Fifita!" but most of the time he doesn't do anything.…"
"I have a couple of Oxen things as they supply the England rugby league team. The fit is pretty good. I support St Helens in the Super League and their kits are made by O'Neil's which I think is good quality. I'm glad they got shot of Macron as they…"

Gordon and Stewart have regular injury clouds as well. We'll probably end up with Mini again with Ricky in charge.
IMO Mini didn't do too bad, especially in Game 2 last year

As a Qld supporter I really hope they pick Mini again. What a JOKE! lol

Dugan is too inexperienced
Hayne had been playing for at least 3 years or so, before he got his first blues call up
Hayne had been playing for a year when he was picked for Origin. Debuted against Penrith in 2006, played on the wing for NSW in 2007
Sunday Telegraph - "Campese" blah, blah, blah "Origin" blah, blah, blah "Dugan" blah, blah, blah "Stuart"
Monday Telegraph - "Stuart" blah, blah, blah "Secret" blah, blah, blah "family" blah, blah, blah "Origin"
