There is some mail doing rounds that the player Buzz & Adrian Proszenko were referring to is in fact Josh Curran. While nothing is near confirmed, he defintely fits the criteria of being a 'very good middle/edge' and is someone who defintely who fit within Ryles system.
If true, I would assume it would not be announced until the conclusion of the 2025 season. Ultimately, as the last thing the Bulldogs need is more talk around player movements. This would also explain the silence.
It is important to note this is not confirmed, just some mail going around and aligns with initial reports.

It does make sense, he's more a lock I'd say but an upgrade on hopgood.
I think this would push Williams into the Prop role permanently, and Curran would fill the void.
Hopgood more so, need him to play prop only. Williams I'm ok with edge or prop. But Curran just a good signing in general
How when Williams has been playing 2nd row and if Curran comes, he'll more likely be lock
Kautoga Williams prob our best edges. I do rate Kelma just cause he's threatening with his line running but he's hit or miss defensively. I'd go hopgood Paulo Tuaviti Moretti as middles. Curran JDB Walker lock/middles as well
We'd most likely have
8. Hopgood
9. Ryley
10. Paulo
11. Kit Kat
12. Williams
13. JDB
14. TDS
15. Walker
16. Curran
17. Sam T / Moretti
Yep that's a damn good pack, just stay on the field
He goes good...
Hope not, very average and offers nothing in attack or defense. If this is Ryles experience players we will never win a comp while he is coach. We need better experience players than Curran.
He's so average I really hope it's not Curran
