There is some mail doing rounds that the player Buzz & Adrian Proszenko were referring to is in fact Josh Curran. While nothing is near confirmed, he defintely fits the criteria of being a 'very good middle/edge' and is someone who defintely who fit within Ryles system.
If true, I would assume it would not be announced until the conclusion of the 2025 season. Ultimately, as the last thing the Bulldogs need is more talk around player movements. This would also explain the silence.
It is important to note this is not confirmed, just some mail going around and aligns with initial reports.

I think Curran's a good player and he would fit into our squad nicely, but I don't see him as a big name signing that will lead our pack in the future. Junior is past his best and we need someone to take up his role in the team. Someone like Tino or Haas, big boys with big motors. Imagine Sam's developement playing alongside one of those guys.
Curran is a good signing though if we had a world class edge he would be.
One bloke was adament it was Jordan Riki. Now that would be a good signing then if you got Curran as well that's a nice signing.
Curran is not bad though, it's decent.

Not saying it is even true. Just random poster being very confident in saying so and looked over his profile for other comments and seems to know what is happening in the game. Doesn't mean it is true but didn't look like a troll to be fair.
Though Riki in general is only 25, still a lot to work with.
He fits the profile and suits our style. He's also a junior.
I doubt riki leaves the broncos to come to parra. Madge won't let him go. Only reason I'd understand it is if fifita returns to Brisbane. But fifita is linked to south Sydney. We will end up with the scraps that no one wants.
Didn't say Riki rumour was real, just some random bloke being adament on it.
