Brent Read in Triple M earlier discussing Josh Addo-Carr, says we are days regarding a decision, said we were in the box seat and now we are the CLEAR favourites.
Says he would imagine he will be an Eel in 2025 and announcment could be immient due to Jason Ryles wanting more speed in the backline. Not expected to be a long term deal, probably only 2yrs but unless theres a major hiccup here looks like he is a done deal to be at Parra next year.

Thank Christ, I hope your right Lurker.
Is Brent Read any better than these other f'wits in getting these things right?
I was starting to get worried and rescind my tip for the minor premiership, throw in Tyrell May and we are on the way!
All just as bad as each other, but a good thing about Read he normally doesn't open his mouth unless he's sure of something
Read is one of the better Journo's out there. I don't mind his take on most stories, and he rarely hammers Parra
Yeah gents, I don't mind Read either. He says he double checks info (not just reliant on player managers).
Early November, he was in a round table discussion on "Does the Media have too much Power?" with Flanagan, Mestrov (Manly CEO), Graham & Woods. It's long, but I found it interesting.
Apparantly mainstream media has their own headline creators (and awards night for it)... and Read admits people want to read the negative stories. The clickbait. We see that here too. The good-feel positive stories bore people.
It's the car crash syndrome. Traffic stalls and everyone wants a peek. People say they don't want drama, but the truth is many or most people need drama or get affected more by the negative stuff far more.
The answer was in the cupboard.
