Jonah Pezet Joins Parramatta Eels - OFFICIAL

The Parramatta Eels are pleased to announce the signing of Jonah Pezet on a one-year deal for the 2026 NRL season.
 
Parramatta Eels General Manager of Football, Mark O’Neill, welcomed Pezet to the club.
 
“Jonah is one of the most exciting young talents in the game” O’Neill said. “He adds class and depth to our halves as we head into the 2026 season. Jonah will join us for a year which makes us better now whilst also allowing time for our emerging talent to continue their development through our Pathways system.
 
“Our Head Coach Jason Ryles has previously worked with Jonah and knows firsthand the professionalism and impact he can have in a team environment. We’re excited to welcome Jonah to the Club and look forward to seeing him connect with our squad and Eels community in 2026.”
 
Pezet will join the Eels for pre-season training in December.

        lol I heard we may get him for the early rounds too so he can prepare with us for Origin, then he's off to Canterbury .

      Troy, you're in a minority. Sarcasm? I'd love NAS too: a middle monster would help.

      TCT also disliked this Pezet deal on their podcasts. A rare moment where 1EE /TCT are Siamese Twins.

      Initially, I wasn't in favor of a 1yr deal, but I get the strategy and will back Ryles and the club and it adds temporary depth to the squad and should enhance winning potential. Plus, it's good cover for Moses. I want them to succeed.

      Let's reflect in 10–12 months. Hopefully, we can build on the spirit we showed at the end of this season. How we start next year could be quite telling.

      I just want to win a premiership. I don't care who we sign  - or for how long.. I just want to enjoy a beer knowing we are the champs..I've been copping it left and right from mates teams who have won..I'm endveous.. Sick of hearing 40 year drought!!

    Absolute waste of a top 30 spot and cap space.

    The Broncos will be loving the fact he gets to play a full season with Moses and then takes that experience to them.
