Jonah Pezet get out clause to be activated.

With Hughes to sign an extension at Storm, Pezet will be able to chase other opportunities. Could be a target with Ryles history at Storm and is a natural half, long injury history so probably wouldn't cost a heap but would most likely start next to Mitch if eels go that route. Thoughts ?

            • I tend to agree with you mate. I don't see anyone available at the moment who would make a significant difference to our squad. We have plenty of young talent who will probably end up being better players than those mentioned.

          • HardNo HellNo PleaseNo FuckNo.

            • Have a look in the social blog re jokes Randolph, you feature prominenty in the last one.

  • Could be a bargain basement price after having another surgery to stabilise his knee after an acl he did previously.

I wouldn't want to be offering him a long term deal.  Maybe a 1y with a club option. He may come for more opportunity here or elsewhere

    • Mostly agree there Chief. But given his age I'd go 2 years with a 1 year club option.

    • Braith has spoken glowingly about ryles and I'm thinking he'd want Pezet to join a club where he can get playing time but also have support around him (Mitch Moses) but yeah if he can stay on the field he will be worth a look

  • I like what Hawkins brings - decent kicking game and good patience and game management..

    • Hawkins a great backup for Mitch at 7, with how injury prone he is that's great to have, Pezet and Hawkins would be a wise investment by the eels

    • He's a good back up at 7, but as a starting 6 no way. He had 0 involvement on the weekend. Stats were horrendous

      • He's definitely a game managing pass first player, just not suited to the 6 role. Doesn't really take the line on
