Queensland prop Joe Ofahengaue to switch to the Super League on an immediate deal.
It is understood that Ofahengaue has played his last NRL game for the Eels and will leave the club to take up a long-term contract at Leigh.
Eels are set to re-sign a host of players, including centre Will Penisini, forwards Sam Tuivaiti and Toni Mataele, and halfback Ronald Volkman.

I didn't mind Ofa. He was the closest thing to the alpha male in the team. Only one that showed a bit of aggression. Junior is a big softy but Ofa showed some fire in his belly.

This creates more opportunities for Tuivaiti and him signing on longer would be great news he looks the goods.

Yes!! Hope it's all straight forward with that and Tuivati. Tbh don't understand why we had to release Joe, not a fave but he does have much needed experience and we haven't got a flood of forwards either.
