Not a bad game from young Joash, definitely an nrl level fullback but not as good as Iongi. It's good we have 2 fullback options but who can step in at anytime. Glad his last error didn't cost us because he didn't deserve that. Solid game and feel comfortable with him covering Iongi

Joash is a very good footballer as is Iongi. The biggest change I have seen this year is that we transition from attack to defence quicker and we get out of the end zone better than last year with Gutho-Sivo - Penisini . The ability to bring the ball back with pace and perception is important in this game. Quicker play the balls, cleaner sets and allowing MOSES to do his thing. Go set for set and wait for the opportunities. To achieve this at a level that gets you into the top 4 we need another quality Prop and a 5/8 with vision and get dig into the line. We are in good shape moving forward.,
Joash will do a great job as our six next year. He has all the skills to play six he just has very little experience playing there. That footwork in the middle of the ruck will be lethal. There is very little difference between a six and one when you play with a dominant seven like moses
I agree. You don't stop learning if you have the core skills
Awesome game by Joash!
Both are full backs
If you had to convert one to 6 I think Isaiah is the better player and would be the better option in both positions
Iongi is a safer player at the back compared to Joash, I couldnt understand why the Broncos didnt bomb him more often last night..
Footy Dean was good at 5/8 last night in the ball playing role but his defence isnt up to scratch..
I am assuming Joash is still the 5/8 for 2026.
Longi definitely the fullback, but Papali definitely a good back up.
still think Papali could make as a 5/8th he definitely has the creativity to be, but probably needs to put on another 5kg and work on he's defence in the off season
