Forget chasing Nikora, Nanai is an absolute gun. Only 19, plays right edge. I hope O'Neill doesn't mess about here. Just throw some serious coin and a long term deal at this young bloke. He's tailor made for the Eels.

Well he is hesitent on going to Wests, everyone saying he doesn't want to leave North Queensland. No he just doesn't want to go to Wests i do not blame him. This kid still has growing to do also.
Wests Tigers recruitment is a joke. They pay huge coin for Papali'i after Leilua leaves and now they chase another right edge player to replace Tuilagi who's also leaving. Do they have any strategy at all in that joint? I mean they did sign Tyrone Peachey for some reason too.
I reckon if Parra make a deadly serious offer we'd get Nanai. He's going to be massive.
I like Nikora, but Nanai has a much higher ceiling. As a club we need to go higher than just players that are competent or good. Nanai might be a slight overpay but the reward is a lot higher than the risk.
Is it any worse than the Eels recruitment?
You're kidding right? Apart from allowing Reed to leave what clangers have we made recently?
We don't really know how to recruit anyone of note would be my biggest criticism. They couldn't buy a marquee at marquees"R"us.

Won't happen.
This isn't a dig at BA but I can't see this happening.
Ba likes to go for guys that are unwanted so he can get them on the cheap and try to turn them into something.
Other than that, he goes for old players who are past their best of players with injury concerns on the hope they will come good.
Sometimes these strategies work but other times he needs to bite the bullet and chase genuine stars of the game.
