The Parramatta Eels are excited to announce that Jaydn Su'A has agreed to join the club on a three-year contract commencing in the 2027 season and running through to the end of 2029.
A powerful and hard-running backrower, Su’A brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the Eels’ forward pack. Since making his NRL debut in 2016, he has gone on to play 160 first-grade matches, establishing himself as one of the competition’s most consistent and physical edge forwards.

Parramatta Eels GM of Football Mark O'Neill welcomed the signing, highlighting Su’A’s impact on and off the field.

"Jaydn has a strong physical presence, he is a competitor who leads through his actions. He can play big minutes, defend consistently, and will be great for our squad."

“He’s built a reputation on toughness and effort, and we believe his experience at both NRL and representative level will add value to our group as we continue to build for the future.”

In addition to his club career, Su’A has performed on the representative stage, earning selection for the Queensland Maroons in State of Origin and representing Samoa internationally.

        • How much money would people offer Herbie? 900k-1M?

          • I don't even worry about how much if we go for Farnworth and end up like chiefs post Averillo and or Tago.Again we seemingly struggle to attract the best guys and end up with a teams discards.

          • You will not get him for that!

          • Minimum 1.3 probably 1.5 mil to get him.

  • 1. Iongi 2. Fox 3. Tago 4. Avarillo 5. Simmonson 6. Talititiana  7. Moses.  8.Daniel Suluka-Fifita 9. Smith  10 Rudolph  11. Sua 12 kit kat 13 Williams.      14. Walker 15 Sam Tuivaiti,  16 Paulo 17 Da Silva.

    • Does anyone rate Sam Hughes off contract.  Doing a job at the dogs

      • He's better than what we have.

      • Jacob Preston is who i would throw money at. But Hughes would be fine i guess.

        • Bingo

      • Yes. We need better players than Hughes but we also need ones like him. He is still miles ahead of Koina, Talagi, etc at this stage.

"Couldn't agree more mate, with the way we are playing we should be looking to hold for the first 20mins which has been non-existent this season and then stack our bench with more attacking/impact players like Walker, Tualagi etc to come on and turn…"

"I think even the club and everyone involved drank it too. That's where after last week Ryles looked the most dejected I've ever seen him. As if it was a pure reality check of "shit, their effort says injuries aren't the only concern""
