The Parramatta Eels are excited to announce that Jaydn Su'A has agreed to join the club on a three-year contract commencing in the 2027 season and running through to the end of 2029.
A powerful and hard-running backrower, Su’A brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the Eels’ forward pack. Since making his NRL debut in 2016, he has gone on to play 160 first-grade matches, establishing himself as one of the competition’s most consistent and physical edge forwards.
Parramatta Eels GM of Football Mark O'Neill welcomed the signing, highlighting Su’A’s impact on and off the field.
"Jaydn has a strong physical presence, he is a competitor who leads through his actions. He can play big minutes, defend consistently, and will be great for our squad."
“He’s built a reputation on toughness and effort, and we believe his experience at both NRL and representative level will add value to our group as we continue to build for the future.”
In addition to his club career, Su’A has performed on the representative stage, earning selection for the Queensland Maroons in State of Origin and representing Samoa internationally.

PT when do you recon some of the SG ball boys will move into FG. I think Petrus will make his debut next year at some point. Koina, Bloomfield, Talagi probably 2028? Coinakis, Popo, Fletcher next year too?
Yeah there was reports he & Su'a wanted to play together, which was the reason Kaeon went to the Dragons.
Let's be honest, it was probably more the 1mil per season for 5 years - but, with the Dragons predicament, if there is any hope of him backflipping & joining Su'a at the Eels we need to be taking it with both hands.
As EA said, small chance, but stranger things have happened & getting both Su'a & Kalooamantangi could be a masterstroke from the Eels (and I am hoping was part of the reason they wen't for Su'a, but thats just hope).
"Shout out to the team today really stood up for the old boys finally some pride in the jersey and the younger boys Charlie,Saxon and Araz all showed they belong in the top grade for me and Volkmann played great as well "
"Overall very good. Bulldogs weren't up for it but that's not our problem. We are not at premiership winning level so most teams we'd compete with would be the level of Bulldogs today or slightly better.
Our forwards were just up for it, and we made…"

Need some backs and decent coach
well done Ron ive always liked Sua. One peice in the big puzzle for the club.
Great signing, well done Parra.
Really hope he can convince Kaeon to come with him.
Congrats to MoN, Rogers, Ryles & JS.
Now, let's keep going - centre, winger, middle.
Get Kolo and Loko. Give them JDB back lol. Moretti, Mataele, Tuilagi, Papalii, etc
What's all this talk of getting kaeon?, didn't he just sign a long term contract with the dragons?, what am I missing?.
Just hoping he black flips cause Sua was a big reason he joined them. So only a very low chance that he leaves them lol

I think this falls in the "so you're telling me there's a chance " category dumb and dumber style lol.
Haha exactly, and thats our only hope.
