The Parramatta Eels are excited to announce that Jaydn Su'A has agreed to join the club on a three-year contract commencing in the 2027 season and running through to the end of 2029.
A powerful and hard-running backrower, Su’A brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the Eels’ forward pack. Since making his NRL debut in 2016, he has gone on to play 160 first-grade matches, establishing himself as one of the competition’s most consistent and physical edge forwards.

Parramatta Eels GM of Football Mark O'Neill welcomed the signing, highlighting Su’A’s impact on and off the field.

"Jaydn has a strong physical presence, he is a competitor who leads through his actions. He can play big minutes, defend consistently, and will be great for our squad."

“He’s built a reputation on toughness and effort, and we believe his experience at both NRL and representative level will add value to our group as we continue to build for the future.”

In addition to his club career, Su’A has performed on the representative stage, earning selection for the Queensland Maroons in State of Origin and representing Samoa internationally.

  • 3 years at 1.2mil?

  • He's just a competitor that plays with an edge and the last bit is what we are needing in our foward pack.

Hes not flashy he's not spectacular but you've got to look for him because he is tough.

    • This is how the dogs started their rebuild, signing a bunch of competitors, most weren't top line players but the competitive edge they brang raised the dogs to a level that enabled them to start signing good quality players.

    • 100%, Coryn.

You'd think he'll be great for experience on the field, and for the younger developing forwards.

  • The mighty Parramatta back rowers

  • Watching that Storm game. Howarth is the same as Pensini. Hot and cold in defence and some poor handling errors.

    • He's been rumoured to be looked at as being pushed out of the club. Funny how if they just accepted our request they could have had Lomax for him.

      • Yea lol.
