Why move our best Fullback? It has been talked about for so long here, but Iongi is our best Fullback, why move him to beef up the 5/8 spot when you weaken Fullback at the same time?
Eventually maybe could prep him to turn into a 6 full-time, Bamblett maybe the one in 3-4 years time to take over at Fullback but for now leave Iongi and let him develop as an NRL player further.
I will say, this is a nice opportunity for him against NZ to play some 5/8.

Would be awesome inside JAC. Speed and Speed.
Iongi training at five-eight on the left for Tonga. If he goes well, it would be much easier to get a good fullback
We already have a good backup fullback in Joash, if Iongi goes to 5/8.
If Iongi was to go to 5/8, Ryles would have tried it i reckon with Papali'i playing some Fullback when Iongi was out. Iongi will stay where he is.
