  • Yep, he played a good game. Has heaps of potential.

    • Yer sorry monto I don't like it, missed a few tackles and made a few, so Yer we will see

  • I still don't think hes a 7 but he did his job in D today but needs to do more in attack

  • Great defence, still stands back in offence but and a few average kicks. I'd have him on the bench for the first week of Moses return but I think I'd rather taka as our utility.

      • There are some areas in his game that he needs to work on, I actually wonder if he's too tense or something, seems strange but as I watch him play and close ups come he is totally poker faced and does not appear to be relaxed in playing. Last week after he scored that try after a great run and evasiveness, when the team mates came up to congratulate him there was absolutely no emotion shown, with the back pats etc.

I really like him as a player as to what he can do, his jinks in attack and evading of the defence is tops, and glad he is with us as he's got a lot going for him as a player.

  • Yes Field was one of the best players on the field . Saved our  asses a number of times with his Defence . I only recall one knock on was only error ?) We need him to continue playing but after Moses where / what position ?

  • Apparently the Dragons let him go due to his defence. I don't see it.

    • I don't see it either, in fact mccollough got on top on field to score that try

  • Outstanding defence. He'll play many more first grade games if he can keep defending like that.

  • When I first saw this blog tilte I read 'Jai Field  needs to flog himself'

I'm glad I read it more thoroughly second time around.
Jai's performance today seems to be opinion splitting, between good goal line defense and a few errors in general play.
Time on the field now surely must be valuable if injuries strike to Moses or Brown later in the year.
