"JACK Gibson never said much to his players, and even less by the time they were walking down the tunnel and on to the field. The words that mattered had been delivered well before that.
"You could fit it on a postage stamp," he would often say when asked what he'd told his men at halftime.
Tonight, when the Eels and the Roosters trot down the tunnel at Parramatta Stadium, the spectre of the supercoach will hit them like a nailgun between the eyes.

It's been loooong overdue. Good on them for finally putting something in the tunnel to fire the boys up. And there is no one better to do that than Jack! Now all we need is the tunnel to be filled with the pictures of eels legends and we'll have ourselves an even more imposing fortress :D

What a great homage to our supercoach and a awesome motivator for each time our team runs out
"Pearce off ,jack"
"What did you say?"
"Pearce off jack, Gibbs on!"
In typical Jack Gibson drawl "Don't tell me to piss off, Fuck Knuckle!"
"OOOHHHH the Supercoach has hit me, i've gone crashing to the deck!"
"All I can say about this Parramatta side has already been said before by a coach the likes of which we may never see again.
Played Strong - done good. Hope the ring fits Nathan."
Yeah - and fill the tunnel with pictures of the legends who inspired such a phenomenal speech.
Better yet - get those of them who are still around to form the guard of honour on Oct 3.
