$600 million to prevent China's Belt & Road initiative parking warships in PNG ports on 50 year deals is a frakkin bargain.
Also, if we are talking "Albo gave PNG $600 million", well guess how much money ScoMo gave PNG in 2018-2022? A hint: one port cost the same as Albo's fund and then multiple by 4 to total the other funds. Oh and how much had Australia invested in gold mining and gas in PNG up to 2018? Hint: multiple Albo's fund by about 100

Actually you are right Daz, the visionaries on here have no understanding how cheap (good) a deal this is in a big picture sense for the Government, regardless of colour or same..
The game will look after itself from say Albo's point of view, all he cares about is that he has limited China and added to our relationship with PNG.
The NRL are doing what they need to do to take advantage of Internationalising the game with this deal. How they go about it is beyond the thinking of most on here. i.e. Most could not manage a transfer of a paper bag in a parking lot!
The fact that Tax free incentives have been offered for employment considerations has been going on with PNG for in execess of 60/70 years. Why do you think anyone goes there?
The naive on here that cannot understand that, are the equivalents of no vision that any form of management takes on in their eyes. How come these guys are titled, educated and influenced and the rest of us do our management through social media.....arguably having never managed anything properly in their lives.

Look up reversed shoulder operations, I am not kidding the technique now has surgery at 97% ....my left arm is like an 18 year old and this one will be in about 3 months something similar. $27k a hit I might add, my Health Fund picks up the bill totally but I have to pay gap fees to the surgeon, the assistant surgeon and the Anatheseist (sp)....$4k a day in St Vincents, magnificient hospital, cannot speak highly enough!
Anyone interested, make sure you have private health cover!

Kendoza, and as we know when companies know its tax funded money they increase the costs of everything....the $$$ thrown at this is a scam; i get we don't want China on our doorstep but seriously throwing $600 million at this; it could end in tears.
