Coukd be a good win for everyone, eels have e him this and next year giving our young guns that bit of extra time to prepare to take over in 2028. I like the move.
I want to Ryles plan as to why we have so much in the cap but why everything is junior based when we aren't even playing our most talented juniors the top or cup grade. Williams can go but if we are replacing him wit's a dud you'd have to question Ryles, MON and co because I can't see this group growing unless we sign some X factor to help Ryles team develop into a top tier side. The fruits are there with his coaching it's the right timing and patience it'll take. I still believe Ryles will win comp but I believe it won't happen until MON is gone.
PNG hype proves just how important investment into the Junior pathways needs to be. PNG will have a super team in their opening few years because of the pay on offer. They basically have double the salary cap due to the tax exemption. A lot of clubs will be relying on their juniors to fill in the gaps.
Exactly though PNG will attract many players from now into future unless nrl fixes the amount accordingly per tax free bucks. ! Isnt the supposed idea of the salary cap to help even things up? How is this fair then? Ridiculous stuff. Plus a whole country offering TPAs as has been outlined re offered to Luai.
It's crucial we lock up our junior keepers ...yesterday.
NRL won't fix it as they want PNG to be successful as it means the Australian government will continue to put money towards it meaning NRL get bucket loads from this franchise.
"Depends on the price tag. I think Cowboys have lowballed him so he hasn't signed yet. Amazes me MoN and Ryles haven't probed into Harris-Tavita yet. Then again, it is MoN we're talking about. Harros-Tavita would be the perfect guy to partner Moses."
"Thats true. Another thing that will eventually annoy the players is png isn't like sydney. They can't just jump in their cars and go to a restaurant or a beach in peace they will get mobbed everywhere they go. I can't see luai wanting to hang around…"

It's VLandys NRL Chiefy, the game where everything is made up and the points don't matter. 😁
This has dodgy player agent written all over it, anyone know who he's with?

And that's why it's totally unfair to the rest of the rest of the teams in the NRL
Reckon Nathan Cleary will be next imo...hopefully they pay him a mega fortune, and use some of their $25M up?
He won't go unless Ivan joins. With Willie Peters that ain't happening.
