Per Marty John's show where he is a special guest. Thumb wasn't taped up. When asked how it is he said he couldn't give too much away but is a chance of returning this week against Broncos.

Yeah he is a Winger, but he adds energy and leadership to our squad. Also speed. One thing Brisbane lacked v Penrith was energy, JAC at times creates something from nothing.
JAC is fast becoming a very influential part of the team and club as a whole. I know he is a fun guy, great for morale etc but his leadership that really come to the fore. He gives so much extra to the young blokes that he like a another coach. The massive improvement in Russells game direct result of what he is being taught and fed from Fox.
Yep, if he is fit, easy decision. Kelly out, Sean to centre and fox wing as we had planned. Be open to samrani playing the other wing too.

Samrani is really pushing hard for a start on the other wing. Got a lot of Corey OATES type of player in him. Rangy, KNOWS where the try line is, tough runner and good defender. Got a far bit of positive vibes old mate.

Hope he plays, we are just better when he does.
Agree Paul, just hope he doesn't re-injure the thumb.
Russell continues to improve every game and this started with JAC's arrival
He adds confidence, speed and hope. As well a bit of X-Factor
