Our recruitment was disgraceful
The players seem to be driving the culture
Matto taking the suspension instead of the fine.
Contract negotiations going on and on
Dylan Brown getting a soft suspension from the club.
Everything needs a reassessment this club should be playing finals regularly and they sure as hell should be developing and maintaining junior talent.

We need 2 quality wingers and a quality centre.
Unfortunately any quality ones have been snapped up already.
Unless we can get players to break contracts to sign with us we will go into next season unchanged and finish well outside the top 8 but there isnt much of an attraction to get quality players here other than us paying overs..
Our R&R committee are useless and failed to keep what we needed and replaced them with duds no other team wanted (Hopgood not included).
How the fuck does a grand finalist lose so many players but can only attract nuffies and has beens.
Are we not an attractive option for quality players?
Do they look at us and think we have a 10 year coach who hasn't won anything other than a wooden spoon?
Does our R&R committee even bother chasing quality players or is it just a case of sign average players to save a few bucks.
I think we are screwed for the foreseeable future.
This does raise a good point. I'm not sure BA has the ability to attract superstars. As a result, he'd rather find mediocre players and try get the best out of them. So no suprise that's exactly what we are, a mediocre team.

I will say this, DWZ is on 800k. Which is insane money for a winger. Not disagreeing with you but that did shock me when I read it. 800k is unbelievable.
That's good coin hey, at least he's digging in and having a crack. I couldn't believe what Josh Schuster is on (reportedly $850k). Some clubs squeeze every dollar of value out of their roster whilst others are getting taken for a ride. Me thinks we are the latter.
