"Journeyman rugby league back Chris Walker has signed for Parramatta in the NRL.

The Nine Network has reported the 30-year-old has come to terms with the Eels.

He had been playing with Les Catalans in the English Super League in 2010 but will return to Sydney for next season.

The former Queensland State of Origin winger has played with five NRL clubs in a career blighted by a number of off-field incidents.

He last played in the NRL with the Gold Coast."

In my opinion, I think Chris Walker is a great depth signing as we have a history of injuries with Reddy, Grothe and Tahu, hopefully they do not have any recurring injuries. He is an ex rep player with no lack of talent, and with the signings of Webb, Maitua and Atkins there will be an atmosphere of players wanting to prove themselves by playing to the best of their abilities, hopefully this motivation will contribute to the team as a whole and make existing players play to the best of their abilities to retain their position.

Next year is looking great, even if you all can't see it yet.
