Israel Folau Bulldogs Rumour

According to Triple M, the Bulldogs are interested in Israel Folau for the 2014 season. CEO Todd Greenberg has said, "Like I've said on another of high-profile athletes if we're not talking or suggesting or linked to someone like that then we're not doing our job so we'll be looking at all options."

From that it is clear that the Bulldogs haven't said no to Israel Folau and are leaving all options open. Which was the line uttered by Folau when he signed for the Waratahs.

  • hmm let's see how keen Folau is to play league after all the scandals have reached their peak

I get a feeling Des Hasler has a few skeletons in the closet...he left Manly in rather sudden circumstances

    • too rite RM......manly have been very competitive under hasler....and won the premiership in 2008 and 2011.......i smell a rat here.

dogs also had a miraculous performance improvement since des took over

    • He's definitely going to the dogs, he signed the day he started training at the tahs! Isaac Moses and Todd Greenberg lead us on all the way.
  • Sticky talked about Izzy the other day and said they get on well there are no hard feelings its all good.

If he makes the aussie team in union his price will skyrocket

  • This was the reason he never signed with the Eels. His manager has been pushing his clients to the bulldogs the past 12months.
  • actually you're all wrong. A good friend of mine is a massive RU fan said the tahs will resign Falou for another two years and HE won't go to NRL

  •  Are you sure about that? My mail is that he has signed with the Rabbits.

  • Your spot on Henry he will stay playing rugby or hes going to Dogs. Two things, you can thank Schubert for the ridiculous price he put on him, and the second was Stuart was told by a news reporter what was happening behind the scenes at the dogs and his manager Gainey, thats why Stuart basically threw his hands up two weeks before Folau had signed to play rugby.
  • Folau belongs at a Scummy club like the Dawgs.

  • I was told he has already signed for them some time ago. The waratahs deal was always just a stop-gap solution for him.

Jason Ryles was on the record saying that recruitment will happen but they are waiting to see how the market turns out. So what does he mean by that. Well look back no further than late 2019. Both RCG and Matterson were contracted with Penrith and…

"Issue is $1.5mil plus for a Lock/Prop is not great for cap balance. Perth need Tino as the face of the franchice. For Tino it is all about money. He has a premiership ring, has played for QLD and Aus, now is going to cash in. "
