It's not as boring as watching cross-field kicks or bombs on the 5th...and we don't take those options every set.
In a sense Brad Arthur inherited this team as much of the recruitment and retention had been done prior to his arrival. Although he has some talent at his disposal perhaps when he is given the chance to axe and recruit the players he wants he will be able to mould a better and more competitive team.
I think we are done.
This team still has a soft underbelly (natural after 2 wooden spoons) and unfortunately we have 3 origin calibre players on the sideline in Hoppa, Loko and Peats. After the bye we have the Warriors and Souths from memory? Good chance of 4 losses in a row.
Given our injury toll a win or 2 outside the top 8 by the end is an above par peformance.
We give up too much ground in the middle of the park, concede too many penalties, and lack the kicking game to force drop outs and thus repeat sets.
