I know I've been bagging the coach a lot and particularly with the following:
1. His selection of players - Especially the bench and use of the bench players.
2. His tactical abilities - Continual predictable game plan regardless of which team the Eels play.
However, I don't and seriously cannot understand why the coach is continuing to select his son Jake who offers absolutely zero in 99.9% of games he's played in and in fact I would say that Jake actually makes matters worse when he comes on. I also cannot understand why the coach continues with Makatoa who is seriously just a plodder. He's like a robot who offers nothing.
My questions in all this is: Is Brad Arthur serious in all this? Does he actually know what he's doing with these selections? Why is he persisting in using usless players that offer nothing? Is it really Nepotism in relation to Jake or is the coach just plain stupid?
Now with the possibility of the Eels making the preliminary and the Grand Final taking a real plummet the coach does the 'unthinkable' and selects a bench with players 99.9% of fans know shouldn't be there.
Is this coach for real? Or is he just taking everyone for a ride?

It certainly 'is' an option and whether or not you agree with it is irrelevant. I have my opinion, you have yours and guess what, everyone in the forum gets to have there's as well!!!
You have a point there Brissy. Only thing i would say is Payten doesn't do that week in week out compared to BA. But in a big game like that you are right Payten played practically 80mins with 15.

Well mate not one poster on here is backing ba's selection of his son probably not one single fan on any site. Even tct are not deleting sack Jake posts were previously they would ban you
