After the past umpteen seasons of continual failure at the Eels in delivering the long overdue Premiership. Is a total change required to finally get some results? In terms of a ‘Total Change’ I mean ( ‘New Colours, New Emblem, New Coach, New Players, ) even the possibility of an ‘Almalgamation’ with another club. It seems that no decent players or coaches want to come anywhere near the Eels and when you look at the recent history of infractions, board fightings, revolving coaches can anyone blame them. It’s very obvious that there are some major concerns at the Eels again after the current start of the 2018 season. I’m really beginning to think perhaps a ‘Total Change’ is the only solution to solving these constant failures at the Eels.

Could still be Parramatta IF no amalgamation occurs but perhaps a change of colours, emblem perhaps!
West’s / Tigers is still Balmain and the Western Suburbs and St.George / Illawarra is still St.George. Why couldn’t an Eels amalgamation would still be Parramatta ? That’s better than to have another 5, 10, 15 or more years of drought.
Point taken Russell but is it any dumber than not winning a Premiership in 31 years?
What about clubs like West’s / Tigers and St.George /Illawarra who have perhaps more history than the Eels and also very large and committed fans. Yet they’ve had to go through almalgamation (perhaps for different reasons) but nevertheless they’ve had success since doing so which means it’s not all bad is it?
