Parramatta centre Krisnan Inu appears resigned to the fact he won't be at the NRL club next season.
Last week Eels boss Paul Osborne said all contract negotiations would be put on hold until the side produced good form on the field.
The Eels currently sit in equal last place on the NRL ladder with one win from five games.
Inu is one of several players, including Feleti Mateo, Eric Grothe and Kris Keating who are off contract at the end of the season although Keating is reportedly set to re-sign in the next couple of weeks.
The softly spoken Kiwi international said he had still not heard anything from the Eels but if he was not offered a contract he was content to move on.
"Whatever's done off the field then that's (what) happens," Inu said.
"Football's a business these days so whatever happens, happens."
The Warriors have publicly expressed their interest in Inu and have confirmed they have contacted his agent David Riolo.
Inu comes into the Eels starting side to face the Rabbitohs this weekend, with centre Joel Reddy suspended.
Facing their fourth consecutive loss, it would be easy to excuse Parramatta for being frustrated and down on morale.

Whilst he isnt worth the reported $250k + he is on now, he is definately worth $150-$180k depending on how he goes this year
I hope we find a way to keep him - but you cant keep them all.
If he leaves he will be next years Kevin Kingston, after every loss there will be a blog on "why didnt we keep Inu!"
In saying that good luck to Inu if he gets a good offer & he goes. Inu has to look after himself. If Parra are stupid enough to be disrespectful to any player and not to initiate contract negotiations & someone gets under our guard then good luck to the player.
I do understand the holding off contract negotiations could be a sign of us not wanting a player. Then we must tell them upfront or put our best offer on the table. For Example - Offer Inu $150k. Surely we have a figure that we think he is worth. If we think the figure is insulting tell him that’s all we can afford for now & maybe after a few more contracts are wrapped up such as Mateo & KK we can review the offer. Players understand there are pecking orders or priorities these days. But we must keep the lines of communication open.
At least he knows were we stand.
I hope we retain all players (Inu, Mateo & KK). I believe it is cheaper to retain the players of each or their calibre then it is to buy someone in to replace them. That is unless we believe we have enough strength & experience within the team to bring up a U20's or reserve grade players to allow them to go.
Personally I don't think we do. Is Humble, Johno, Mitchell, Hanlon, Allgood able to perform at the level these three guys do or can. I don't think so. So let’s keep them if we can.
I still think we have to find a way to keep him. He and Hayne are great mates and we certainly don't want anything to upset the Hayne apple cart! He is our most likely even when he out of form.
He has had ample time to show the EELS fans and Management what he can do, he has failed i say.
He does have talent, dont get me wrong, however a player needs to be consistant, he is consistantly below par.
Time to move on and let some other club deal with mr.sensitive, bring on Jonathon Wright for our future
Based on the form this year (and the back end of last year) I would prefer to let Mateo go and keep Inu and KK. I have always been a big fan of Mateo, and while he has potential he has never really lifted that next gear to become a great player.
