Instead of shedding players

Instead of shedding players by the Bunnies game, is there any reason why the playing group take a pay cut for this year?If the group is as tight as it says it is, surely they would realise that the easiest and quickest option would be to take indeed as a group. It's apparently how the Cowboys, Broncos and Roosters do it.What's he bet Greenburg doesn't allow it though, I have my money on the Bulldogs scoring the games hottest playmaker over the next couple of weeks.

  • We all know that the brocos and cowboys are over the cap. NRL will allow them to win a premiership this way.... its obvious that its not a level playing field. Screw the NRL and its biased comp. No wonder it is losing so many fans to other codes
    • The reason for "apparently"
  • Can't take a pay cut if the NRL says you are worth a certain $ amount.
  • Greenbush was asked this question during the conference and his answer was "NO".
    • Did he give a reason?
    • No he didn't. The journo asked the question which he simply responded no to. There was no follow up from the journo and the next question in relation to if Watmough retired (although they didn't use his name). I was disappointed there was no follow up to the original question.
  • Would Parra be forced to shed Paulo early to the Raiders??

"Sorry should have clarified, 1998 NRL era.
I stuck to what i knew best. I love Luke Burt, still my favourite ever player, hence the dp. He didn't have that flashy skills like Hayne and was undersized but to accomplish 260+ games is an achievement…"

"Can you define what era / year your modern day starts from.
I took Jarryd Hayne on your survey, but I also loved Luke Burt as a team man. Luke Burt reminded me so much of little Paul Taylor, did so much work but never got the credit he deserved."
