Not necessarily so. The origin game will be Wednesday next week and the Titans game the weekend following. Currently he has a week for Origin and needs to pass fitness now. The Titans game he will have that day!
Smart choice by MM he is on a hiding to nothing playing in the origin game and if they get beaten the Blues can't use him as a scape goat. He could come back in the Origin series (3rd game) and be a hero.
