The Parramatta Eels have released today that they have signed or resigned 4 players. They have retained Patrick Spence, Max Tupou and Meni Luke, all of whom have been playing in the club's pathways competitions.
In further news released by Zero Tackle today, Winger Arthur Miller - Stephen has returned to the Eels after suffering back-to-back injuries, which saw him only play three matches in the past 24 months.
I have mentioned this before that when the Eels lose out on an elite player, within a couple of days they release the signing or resigning of fringe players. Once again the playbook was used to perfection, we have lost an Australian Representative Winger in Lomax, Missed out Koloamatangi and then within days we get these siginings released.
Anyone have any idea if these are good signings, bad signings or who gives a rats Ar#%.
'I'm being very childish right now, and I know it, but I'm simply underwhelmed with recruitment success at the moment.

I'm with you BE my mind wonders and it probably doesn't help the amount of books I've red on the subject the who what how why we continually ask.
It frustrates me because some of the answers are right there for us to see. When I see other clubs turning stones we aren't like you mention frustrates the hell out of me.
I want to give them credit for things but I see so much wrong at the club winning a premiership seems light years a way.Wheather it be Recruitment retention improvements across the board I just don't know.I just feel as a organisation we put to much on the head coach and it lessens focus about the people and the mentioned around him. It's an all encompassing equation winning a premiership not just a coach and players and it goes missing when we talk about winning the mentioned.
All these teams that have had runs are for the most part top of the class across the board.I don't know if we are or will ever be.But we'll have to wait and see.
End of the day I'm a bit different with this it's not that bigger deal in my life if Parra do or don't win there's always bigger more important things in my life to let it effect me in certain ways.If it does effect you like that BE your right to take some time a way.
Bluey: Should this site only allow posters with "concerns" to express their thoughts, but not allow any counter arguments opposing the ideas expressed in those "concerns"? We'd become an echo chamber. It would be intolerably boring, frankly.
Also, I ask again where is the club's "fanfare" about these resignings as Frank claimed? They are not on their official website or news section. Sure, this news is somewhere (Zerotackle, here) and on club records etc. I just question the idea of "club fanfare" over these re-signings, rather than disputing the facts.
I don't have the slightest issues with this blog, Bluey, or your comments. Not the slightest. I might disagree with some ideas though and express those with you, but only because you're reasonable and a person you can discuss things with. You are an important member and I hope you continue to press your "concerns" proudly. To be fair, most comments in quantity have expressed concerns without wanting to drift into labels again (positive, negative, unicorns and poo-bombing). And I will express my thoughts as well if that's okay with you? The last post does have a feel of 'no-one is listening to us' vibe. Maybe, I'm wrong. It's just how it feels.
The club isn't stupid, they have social media teams who would be peruse over it. They'd know the fans' concerns. They'd surely want some dialogue with reasonable fans such as yourself. That open sessions with members is one way. But you also can't have fans or players wagging the club's tails. That's a reality. If you were in charge, you're not going to make big decisions that affect the club on how some fans feel today. We'd have a new GM and head of R&R every Monday, and a new CEO every second week. That's before we get to the boards. No doubt the coach would go as well after his head stopped spinning.
PS: Most posts so far on this blog of four pages has expressed the same concerns as you, the "we" are with you, some with sarcasm others will dead pan "the club is hopeless...". etc Some like Pou or me (Adam likes Pou posting more) have expressed some counter arguments. Why is that a problem, exactly?
Touche, great counter. There is not.
Great news! The future is looking good at Parra. Could be a Ken Irvine, Eric Grothe amongst those..
