  • I wonder if Roache is still around the club if he would be chosen before Hands if push comes to shove?

  • I wonder where they've got that information on Nathaniel Roache from. I was under the impression he isn't even training at the moment, let alone preparing to play in the trials.

    • He is the new mystery man. Is he or isnt he an Eel?

    • The info is from Foxsport.

  • I wonder if Sivo will return this year for the eels?  My gut feeling is that he will not recover mid season and likely work towards a medical retirement so he can go to RU, next year, that's his natural game rather than RL,he will need that extra time to get his knee right or good enough to play in Europe/France in 2023.

Don't believe it will be a big loss to the eels as the backs we have should fill the gap quite readily.

    • Why would he need a medical retirement? He is off contract anyways.

      • He won't retire I do think he will sign with French/Japanese rugby and depending on how we're travelling he may get a early release

      • He would need the retirement to make sure he's ok for the Northern season. He is not totally off contract as he has a player option for next season, which he could exercise if his knee gets another double whamy which he got late last season.

A medical retirement though provides him with the cash due for this coming season at full contract rate, next year its an option only and at his option.

    • The clowns should of let him go and kept money for Mahoney
