  • And Brett White heading to the Raiders.

So basically we're no chance at Cronk I'd say and we are, quite simply - F&%KED!!!!
  • F%CK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • The Storm were never going to release Cronk and Cameron Smith, they are the best half and hooker combo going around.
  • Its just one salay cap cheat releasing a player to another salary cap cheat, its all a farce.
  • If Cronk wants to go, they will let him go. It is useless keeping a player who would rather be elsewhere. If you believe the news that Cronk wants out of Melbourne then there is possibly more to it than just money.
  • I think absolutely it is about money and the fact that he was led to believe that he was valued by the club equally to that of Slater, Smith and Inglis. Of course, it has since emerged that he was on far less than the other 3. To further compound this betrayal, and how unfairly he must he feel he's been treated, the Storm now release Inglis and he is free to continue earning pretty much what he was on in Melbourne, while Cronk has to stay at the Storm and continue picking up the same paycheck he has for the last few years. I'm not aware of any allowances for the Storm to re-negotiate contracts for next year?

In addition to this, on a personal level, he may not feel comfortable being a part of an organisation that flagrantly flouted the rules for an extended period and feels like he wants a fresh start.
  • ahhhhhhhhh fuccccccckkkk!!!!

I was realy realy realy realy hoping he was coming and steer us to a premiership.........

I just dont see any leadership or the quality we need our halves to show with what we have a the moment, im not saying theyre not capable of doing so, im saying that there still not ready to take the game into their own hands and control our attack which is obviously lacking at the moment.

I dont want 2011 to be a long season but with the way were going and with the players were losing looks like its gna get that way, hope im wrong though..............
  • 8 weeks! I love your optimism Tony, heres hoping that you have to stay dry for 8 weeks and aren't drowning your sorrows at about 9:15pm this Friday
  • He also said at one poin't that he didn't wan't to leave the storm. Can we all move on?
  • And Inglis said he'd never play against the Storm. Does that he mean Henjak has to stand him down when the Broncos play the Storm in 2011?
They all said they wanted to stay at the Storm but that was just marketing gimmicks designed to keep the Storm fans on their side.

"I wouldn't call Da Silva a cancer. He was happy to stick with Wests if they provided him a plan post Api but Wests just said better off going now. He wanted to stay for 2026. I wouldn't call that cancerous."

"There are a couple things to consider.
First, his asking price. Could we get him for a price we'd be happy with and allow us to build a squad and retain players we need to.
Second is whether he fits the culture Ryles is trying to build. Ryles is…"
