He’s the most sought after player on the market, but speculation around Mitch Moses’ future should be over within weeks.

Mitch Moses’ teammates jokingly stood around as he did interviews on Tuesday afternoon hoping to catch some breaking news, but the Eels halfback was tight-lipped about his future that he hopes to have sorted in the next few weeks.

The flashy playmaker is the most sought after player on the market, with the Wests Tigers reportedly willing to break the bank to lure him back to the club that handed him his NRL debut.

  • Put a deadline for him, he has overdone it now.

    • Good way to lose him

      • Yeah and? We need time to get a replacement for 24 or even go for a Suaali for 24. We need to know our future as much as he does so it goes both ways.

    • He's put a deadline on himself. You do know he's not off contract till the end of this year, he can wait right till Nov 30 to inform the club if his decision if he wants.
In any event, the extended article quotes him as saying his sole deciding factor is winning a premiership. I've never felt more confident that he'll stay.

    • Hardly a timeline - more of a fantasy guess. " I hope to have it sorted in the next few weeks" in other words he has no idea how long its going to take for the Tigers to confirm their salary offer.

  • If he had signed with tigers it would have been all over the media. He is clearly staying at parra

  • A week before round 1 would be a good time for the club and Moses. Then we can focus on round 1 and the team, not just Moses

  • Just saw the interview.   The amount of times Moses said he was focusing on Parramatta for now I couldn't count. Sounds like he is focusing on us right now but has signed elsewhere.  I reckon its 60/40 to the Tigers

    • He also said that his chances of winning a premiership will be the deciding factor. He couldn't seriously consider the Tigers are premiership chance anytime soon.

    • So are you saying, Moses is focused atm?
