I realy am depressed regarding whats happening to my beloved parramatta eels.
Im scared of the thoughts of what and were we are heading this season and the next, things realy do not seem right for us especially in the last couple of weeks/days.
We are struggling to find form on and off the field, we are losing in my eyes are massive load of high marquee players at parramatta, mateo, inu, cayless, keating, grothe?
The reports that some players are having disagreements with our coach is another massive concern to come up and slap us in the face.........
There are issues within the team among players, among the coach, among ourselves realy..
Are we about to lose it? Are we about to crumble and self-detonate?
I cant handle all this bullshit and drama that is slowly tearing my beloved eels apart.
Im afraid.......very afraid.

I have no confidence left in us making the top 8.
Definitely something white anting the entire team and as supporters all we can do is sit back and wait for boys to become men.
If any club had the players and reasons to take this years trophy it is Parra - BUT !?!?!?!?!?!?
That said, I'm not sure whether DA's disciplined approach is necessarily a bad thing. Let's face it, Bellamy, Hasler, Bennett and Brian Smith aren't pushovers and their teams aren't self destructing. DA simply said that Hayne was 'trying too hard' and had a poor game by his standards - hardly a reason for Hayne and his Polynesian teamates to throw the toys from the pram and 'boycott compulsory team functions' as reported by the Telegraph.
I can't understand why some players, i.e. Hindy, Humble, Burt, Poore, Mannah, MoiMoi, Cayless, Ben Smith and Reddy can all manage to rise to DA's standards while others such as Inu, Mateo, Grothe, KK and Hayne have a sulk when the pressure is placed on them to perform?
After all, it is their job!!
HOWEVER -
This "confidence team" crap is way over worked.
If these guys do not have the confidence within themselves to compete 80 mins in a game they should be in the old farts home playing shuffle board.
If they don't have the confidence in their teamates to play 80 mins then they should get their heads together with those players and sort it out.
Our entire structure depends on 3 or 4 players creating EVERYTHING !
So how about we cut the excuses for bad form and get it rectified.
What you say about some players putting in while others have dummy spits is correct - time for little boys to become men and get on with the job.
Either that or get out of RL altogether.
Our teams a MESS!!!!
With respect to 'confidence', I think it does play a role. Some players - e.g. Hindy - will go out and give 110% every week - no matter whether he played well the week before, is carrying an injury, or is frustrated with some aspect of management, whereas other players need 'all their ducks in a row' before producing what we know they can. Again, this is mirrored in life. Some people respond well to criticism and negativity and take an "I'll show you" approach to any challenge issued to them. Others find their best form when addressed in a more personal, understanding fashion and tend to retreat into their shells when confronted with an aggressive challenge. That's just different players' personalities responding differently.
I think the greatest mentors tend to know which of their players responds best to positive reinforcement and which thrive on negative reinforcement and tailor their approach more individually. I'm not saying that DA does not do this, nor am I apologising for 'sooky' players, however, a little bit of compromise from both sides might be in order here.
