1) When an attacking player is being owned (i.e. pushed back) usually a team mate will form an illegal maul to assist their team mate, we seem to rarely if ever use this illegal tactic. Why?
2) when an attacking playing makes good metres and has a quick play the ball sometimes push forward after playing it and take out the markers making it look like the play the ball speed is what got them. It's so fast the refs brain seemingly can't identify it quick enough or something. We never use this illegal tactic. Why?
I'm not saying opposition teams do it every run but they certainly use these tactics more than us. Should we start to use these cheating tactics that are now part of the game?

1) if your teammate is being tackled you're not allowed to touch an opponent involved in the tackle. Yes it happens but it's illegal. Captain should point it out.
BA played a safety first mentality meaning we didn't push the boundaries when it comes to illegal tactics. That is why we never win the ruck and despite most people complaining about penalties against us we have been one of better teams at not conceding penalties in recent years.
A new coach and we might see a change of direction and parra push the rules a bit like successful teams.
As I say, they did the illegal maul move off the kick off to avoid being pushed back. And then the illegal walk forward off the mark for the their first 6 again. Refs have lost control of the game and it seems we're only team not using these cheating techniques.
