This is the letter I wrote to the NRL. It makes me feel like I am doing something, not just whingeing on this site and agreeing with all the posts. Probably won't help, but it makes me feel better.
If everyone gave them some feedback, it may have an influence.

To the NRL
Once again an Eels game is decided by the quality of the referring. What all NRL fans need to know is whether this is was due to incompetence, bias or both, or something worse.
It is clear that two of the three Storm tries were not refereed to the standard required. It was obvious to all including neutral commentators that the last pass of the first Storm’s try was forward out of the hand. Referee Cummins overruled his touch judge to immediately award the try. This game was decided by two points.
It was equally apparent that the Bunker should have been used to help adjudicate the Storm’s second try. Clearly with such chaotic play the referee could – and did miss something. Despite the NRL ‘explanation’ today, clearly there was sufficient doubt Glasby was offside when he touched the ball in front of Cronk. Two out of three tries incorrectly officiated. Game gone. Even if the ruling was correct there is absolutely no doubt it should have gone to video referee. It is noticeable that Eels tries went to the Bunker.
Sadly there was more evidence of poor officiating. Takaraingi was clearly obstructed by a Storm player who changed his line, Radrada was illegally prevent from a quick play the ball, Alvaro’s and Auva tries were both adjudicated with undue certainty, Storm players were offside off their line in defence late in the game and Chambers delaying tactics were let go.
I have written to you recently about refereeing. The disgraceful; performance of referee Perenara in the Eels v Knights game has been well discussed, but fortunately that game had little impact on the competition overall. However, in a qualifying final, the performance of referee Cummins must be carefully scrutinised. If the authorities agree that it was error strewn and incompetent, he must not officiate again until his standards improve. It is for the authorities to decide whether there was intentional or subliminal bias, or other forces at play.
What NRL fans do not want, is the same sort of formulaic reply I received from you after the Perenara fiasco. We need to be able to believe the referees are competent and most of all, unbiased. The future of the game and the support of people like my self depend on it.

now you know why smith is called a extra ref, and billy as bad.
look parra got the storm on the wrong day ,with all there fan fare over cam smith and cooper.
looking on tv channel had almost the 30 mins on the storm and fox the same.
you got to say the refs who awarded the first try should never ref a rugby league game again its boarding on cheating in my view..
at the end of the day we never got the 2 points , now we play the cowboys or sharks, i would hope french back, at least we have a nother chance , it seems the sharks think there got the game , well they have to beat the cowboys first, and parra no going to lay down boys , go the eels you are the real winners yesterday , no doubt, go the eels. i am amazed paul kent on the eels side and had plenty to say about the first try and bad call parra got..
Nicely said mate, but they don't give a rats arse. They are the very problem.
Is rigged. The only thing they care about is the TV deals and how to get the most money.
The decision that pissed me off the most was the no try to Auvua, how can the refer let play go on and the.n Send it up no try?If the ref seen something he should have called if he didn't then it should have went up as a try.
Writing to the NRL may achieve nothing, but doing and saying nothing certainly will achieve nothing.
"Evil triumphs when good men do nothing".
Referees are influenced by coaches, crowds, players, the media and maybe others. If enough people complained it may have an influence. Who knows?
A good rant to them made me feel better at least.
I know it wont help but I send them one it I did say nice word about them to
The object of the exercise is to make public the lack of standards within the ranks of referees - maintain pressure on the cheating match fixing NRL until we WIN.
We, as in the fans and supporters.
IF the NRL get swamped with 1000 complaints they know they cannot hide.
Eels are supposed to have over 25K members aren't they?
Is it really too much to ask 4% to lodge a complaint?
Also 'Cc' Ch 9, Fox, SMH and the Daily Crap.
Marching in the streets is where it's at.
