I think we have a good'n with Horo

Quite often you see players play out of their skins for a new contract but after they sign drop off. Not so Horo. He played with the same intensity as he has all year. Good work young man.

  • Too right Normo.
Horo to start at lock next year.
  • OH YEAH, best thing to happen for such a sh!t year. Anthony Mitchel looks the goods too.
  • I second that Normo a great talent to come out of an otherwise very very very very dissapointing year!!!!
  • Yep Horo showed skills i did not know that he had. He is a good one! and when he gets to be a starting player his confidence will grow and he will allow himself to show more of those skills. The highlight of this season -Justin Horo
  • You reckon he can get that next year MB as starting lock?
With some of the skills he has shown this year, I think he is more than capable of taking over Mateo's lock position.
  • I'm really impressed with his attitude. As I said so often a player signs a contract and slackens off. Horo almost took it up a notch for mine.
  • Ricky, honestly I was so wrong about Horo! I thought he was a great hard toiler, honest and tough. He is so much more than that, he kicked that ball from the inside of his foot for hayne perfectly and thats the sort of stuff top half backs do. He is in his first year for Gods sake and look at him! Yes I think he has to be our starting lock
    • #6 next year...
    • Definitely.
I was pleasantly surprised by his development over the course of the year as well.
He's shown that he has a vast array of skills, all of which will come in handy for the future.

      If you're reading this Horo!
      Congrats son! Fantastic season.

I definitely think he should be our starting lock for 2011 though.
  • On I suppose a worrying note he only got his chance this year through injury to Shackleton. What I mean by that is our coaching staff only played him because they had to. Was it a fluke that he was discovered by us, who knows.
