its hard isn't it to watch with such hope and expectations, but the reality has set in that we won't be there this year.

It must be nice being a Broncos fan winning comps so consistantly, I really envy those clubs who have sustained success decade after decade after decade.........what do we do from here?

I'll never ever support another club I just can't do it, I love the Eels, but gee they are hard to love sometimes.

Sad, dejected and wishing it was 1981 all over again :(

  • while we're still a chance, I'm optimistic but its looking bad isn't it.
  • it's hard mate, i think we all held out hope that we'd kick on from last year especially with what we thought would be a better squad........oh dear, not the start to the weekend we all wanted hey.

Well, it could be worse everyone, we could be fucking sharkies supportetrs, those poor bastards deserve medals!!!
  • You never lose hope, but it seems a long shot that we'll make the finals now.

You can't help but feel the element of sadness though at what is heading for another failed year.
We can't just show up for the last few weeks.
    Consistent footy is what's needed.
  • yeah mate its not looking good, our 2nd halves have been bad, no luck, shit talk about a run of posession and bounce of the ball, but that's how sport goes sometimes, when you're hot you're hot, and when you're not you're not
  • I'm sad and angry. Sad because i know after the promises from last year that we won't even make the top 8 (with one team relagated) and angry because i know we have the talent and ethier the players are lazy or it's bad coaching. I think it is bad coaching. Also angry because we had half a good season last year and have to lose player due to the salary cap, which wouldn't waorry me if we had won a premiership.
All we need is the dragons to choke so we can smile at least for one day.
I'll support the panthers in the finals as our neighbours.
    I'm devistated really.
    Cut, gutted.
Can't believe that with 4 games left in the regular season our season is over.
  • I have a framed Parra premiers 81, 82, 83 jumper in my tv room and am resigned to living in the 80's.
I wish I could follow another team, but my heart will always be blue and gold.
Will I see another title in my lifetime.
C'mon parra your fans deserve better.....
  • hearing ya brother
  • whats missing, for me its that general that runs the team a champion 7, but I don't feel liek talking about solutions tonight, Anderson gets paid for that, but I wonder now how long he has.

The board was divided on him 6 rounds ago and those 3 wins saved hi s arse.

The pride and passion ticket that got in will demand changes that I'm confident in.
  • oh 1981 I was there I loved it and 1982, 1983, 1986. Its sooooo long between drinks.
WE NEED A CREATIVE HALF BACK WHO CAN PASS, WHO CAN DART, WHO CAN KICK..........
sorry about that shouting its just frustrating
  • mate the problem has been from the last minute of last season been way to cocky and did not work hard in the offseason which in turn has destroyed our season we need new culture coach players full clean out and a full offseason working 7 days a week

Frankie Fong replied to Joeyboyz's discussion Is Jarome Luai worth going after?
"I'd take him for sure and Parra would have a very good shot at getting him too , no chance in hell Jarome would be happy at the tigers so I'd have no doubt that if the right club came along he would take up his get out clause.

Money wise I think…"

"100 percent,  Jerome is winner and he would bring a great energy but I wouldn't break the bank - he was a half back in his early playing days."
