I FEEL FOR HINDMARSH :(

Nathan Hindmarsh is by far my favorite player in the whole of rugby league. He is a great man on the field and off the field and looks like he comes from a great family. He has pretty much devoted his life to rugby league and the Parramatta Eels, not only playing for them but promoting the game aswell. It breaks my heart that Nathan Hindmarsh does not have an NRL premiership ring. I really feel sorry for hindy, he is a veteran of Rugby League, all Rugby League legends have premiership rings except for poor hindy. I remember an interview that the footy show had with him and they said when are you going to retire and he said " I was meant to retire last time my contract finished, but then I keep thinking to myself, what if i leave and they win a premiership?" LOL. In 2011, it is most likely time for Hindy to hang up his boots and I would really hate to see him go without winning one.

HINDY 2011!!!

How do you think we will do without Hindmarsh when he retires? In my opinion we are goners. It is not just his 50 tackles he makes a game, it is simply his presence, we cannot win without Nathan Hindmarsh, it is as simple as that. We need to find somebody for his replacement because if we dont, I cannot see us going far in the next few years.

Any ideas? What do you think?

  • hindy is a one of a kind! Whenever his crack shows we win games,if you've noticed...
In the broncos game,Manly game in round 2,Rabbitohs game not sure what round,Melbourne game and heaps more..
Im not sure who will replace hindy :(
  • Nah man, Mannah is a prop. Hindy is a second row, yet doesn't play like a second row. Haha. There is no position to describe Hindy. He is in a world of his own. He just lays back and makes so many tackles and when he has the ball he just runs it up, looking for the offload. He is definatley one of a kind.
  • Hey guys 2011 is not hindys last year as he is contracted till 2012, so lets hope he gets it in the next 2 yrs. Who replaces him you can't replace a nathan hindmarsh in the 39yrs i have played and followed this great game i have never seen a better forward to lace on a boot, and yes that includes mr perpetual motion.
  • really? 2010. Well thats great news, i thought it was 2012. My mistake boys. Hopefully we can get a good halfback by 2011, so then we have 2 years to work on a win!
  • As much as seeing Hindy go will devastate me, I think Justin Horo has the makings of a champion, he can definitely fill the gap when Hindy leaves, that is if the board is smart enough to resign him.
  • agreed, but don't forget Luke Burt, Nathan and Luke really deserve Grand finals as they have been pure blue and gold for over 10 years
  • Go Hindy! You are awesome!
  • the list of players that deserve a premiership is endless, thats footy,
  • A player that has the goods to replace Hindy in the long-run and who can assume that workhorse type role is a young man by the name of Patrick O'Hanlon.
Very similar player to Hindy in many ways.
  • who said hindy's gonna retire any time soon? he's playing better now than say 2 or 3 years ago in my opinion
