I'd really like to hear from Ian Schubert

We got the Schue in late last year with the remit of clearing up our cap issues working 3 days a week closely with DA. He's been with the club officially for a good 6 months now. What did he uncover? What did he fix? What were his recommendations throughout this? Did he know just how deep we were in it?

It feels very odd to me that we have had 6 months consultation from a former salary cap auditor - the one who worked through the entire Storm saga - and we've still ended up here.

  • Very good question.
  • bad mistake it seems now , but there much more to come in the next few months , no doubt the 5 sacked will sue, in the high court.. it far from ended goz the nrl say it is.

  • Real simple.

Watmaugh & his dicky knee retires, club is then cap compliant.
Board falls on there own sword.

    It's not rocket science.
  • That is a good question.

Kind of starting to make me think, as he had/has links with the NRL, if he has anything to do with some of the punishment we cop. Like he found out some irregularities and kept quite while letting the NRL know and hence adding to the reason why we were punished.

Might sound stupid (I know), but could be a possibility.

  • I was wondering along time ago if Schue was leaking anything
    • He's a contracted employee, what's his incentive to leak?

  • It was a job for pocket money for him.
  • Is Ian Schubert still in Australia ?

"Sorry should have clarified, 1998 NRL era.
I stuck to what i knew best. I love Luke Burt, still my favourite ever player, hence the dp. He didn't have that flashy skills like Hayne and was undersized but to accomplish 260+ games is an achievement…"

"Can you define what era / year your modern day starts from.
I took Jarryd Hayne on your survey, but I also loved Luke Burt as a team man. Luke Burt reminded me so much of little Paul Taylor, did so much work but never got the credit he deserved."
