I am going to call it...

I think Sivo will be bigger and better for the Eels than Semi!!!

Comparing the two, after one year of grade Maika has developed much more than Semi.  Semi had an attacking brilliance from distance like no other, bu Maika is unstoppable near the line and far a better in defence.

Yes Maika had a few years of Bush and Park footy, where as Semi was thrust into grade, but I still see Maikas development.

If he continues on this track, he could be a true cult hero of our great club

  • He has heart on his sleeve, family orientated.semi  in the end was all about the money influenced by his manager I don’t want him. Sivo is on the brink of greatness

  • I don't think too many people will argue with you here and we all hope you're right, he was unstoppable tonight...
(How the Panthers let him go is just embarrassing)
But, you might be forgetting just how brilliant Semi was. He was the best winger I've seen play the game (too young to see Grothe Snr) and could single-handedly win games from nothing - something Maika is yet to do.

Once again we've got one of the best backlines in the comp... and that's when Parra's at their best!

  • Pretty lucky to have had both

  • Sivo is great and i've got nothing negative to say about him, but he's not even in the same ballpark as Semi yet.

  • Semi abandoned his teammates for big bucks, he may or may not have slapped his missus around and wanted to get out of Australia to escape the heat, and he used to disappear back home all the time and skip training. I don’t see Sivo doing any of that. If Semi joins the bulldogs he’ll complete his transformation into Darth Vader.

    • Untrue!

  • Hope he doesnt end up in European Rugby when they start luring him with big Euros.

  • Next year Sivo will break the record for most tries in a season by a player since the formation of the ARL/NRL you heard it here first.  He will score about 30 tries.

  • Let’s wait and see how he goes with a off season under his belt, fitter. faster. Stronger. I’m getting excited!!

  • Teams will start working out game plans to stop him.
