The front office screwed it because they got caught cheating that was the bigger issue.Foran unfortunately his body was at the end of it by the time he got to us and the mental state hurt him also.
Foran's body was fine. He played more NRL games after leaving Parra than he did before he got here.
As for getting caught, that's the risk every club takes when they fuck around with 'arms length' TPAs. The alternative is mediocrity.

No it wasn't he was used up and he fell off the cliff because of it.Us Dogs GC Warriors I mean he didn't play a full season because of his body.It gave up the ghost bigtime.
Yes, in today's rules Hayne and Semi would be unstoppable with Moses, Iongi, Addo Carr. But our forwards and Centre will let us down in much bigger games.
Wasn't he just Captain. '09 Hayne amazed, shocked and thrilled everyone who saw him perform.
When we played the favourites for the comp, Saints, in the first Semi at Kogarah that year I was in disbelief in what unfolded right in front of my eyes, sitting on the Hill about 25 yards from the line.
Hayne went on a zigzag run thru at least 7 defenders, staccata style that he was famous for, beating some players twice then put the ball down near the posts. Just magical...what a player.
Hayne never played with an elite level half at club level for an extended period. Finch was about the closest he ever got and that was right at the start of his career. He played chunks of his career with Jeff Robson, Chris Sandow, Ben Roberts and Luke Kelly in the halves. He had a single season with Moses when Moses was nowhere near what he is now.
You stick prime Hayne and Radradra in this squad, it is absolutely next level. It becomes a threat everywhere on the park.
You'd pop Semi on the right simply because he's a freak and can play both sides of the field. Hayne goes to fullback, Iongi to 5/8.
A backline of
Hayne
Semi
Penisini
Russell
JAC
Iongi
Moses
That's starting to cook. You get size and speed along with Hayne's ball-playing skill which would compliment Moses and Iongi nicely. Hayne's kicking game itself would also be a good pairing with Moses as Hayne's was as big as Moses'.
The thing I hate seeing is when people compare 09 Hayne to 2021 Turbo. 2021 Turbo was a support merchant playing alongside DCE who was an Origin halfback. Turbo was often 3rd receiver, playing off the back of space provided by his inside men.
09 Hayne was first and second receiver a lot of the time. He had to create his own space while also shouldering the general play kicking duties. Hayne has 2 stand out tries in 2009. The chip kick and regather against the Tigers, and the dancing try against the Dragons in the finals. Both were all him. He created something out of absolutely nothing on both occasions.
Anyone tell me a stand out Turbo try from 2021 where he beat half a team (the minor premiers at that) to score? Or had to create something from absolutely nothing in the pressure cooker of a winner takes all match?
Turbo couldn't get Manly to the grand final. Hayne did and he did so by beating 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
Yep, Turbo won the Wally Lewis medal, but he was again the beneficiary of a NSW team that blew Queensland away. Hayne won the Fittler medal from the wing and was just about the only consistent threat to Qld that series.
You also had the different rules. In 2009 halves could boot the ball dead without 7 tackles. In 2021 we had six agains on steroids.
This is a hill that I will firmly stand on. 09 Hayne > 21 Turbo any day of the week.
This threw me a little because I figured the consensus would be a resounding yes which would have lead me to the question, which 2 players today do we need to recruit to turn us into a premiership threat?
"Both, solves a myriad of arguments
Solve's a lot of our defensive problems.
PS Dont get lost in pricing players Shane, it is currently like a game of monopoly, buy everything you can and worry who you are going to get rid of when the time…"
"Yeah could be. Last time Luai came straight in and Moses was ruled out nearly immediately. Now it's Strange on stand by and Burton will meet up with squad in Sydney today. I mean that is not too hard for Burton to do and to sort out. Just meet us at…"
"That will go down well. Giving up a possible $90k. Just won't happen as long as he is picked.
It will take for the new coach to bring in Katoa at 6 for the future for Moses to not play."

No because we are still parramatta and we would fuck it up somehow

Throw in a Micheal Jennings, Hindmarsh,Vella and Dylan Brown. Yep.
Honestly, yes. Prime Hayne was that good. He was a one man team and he did almost take us to a premiership almost completely on his own.
Semi was great, but Hayne was on another dimension in his prime year. I've never seen such a dominant player as that '09 Hayne run.
