Parramatta have just filled what could prove to be one of their most critical positions, that of recruitment manager. Matt Desira, formerly a player agent for Pacific Sports Management, has been charged with helping the Eels to turn their roster into a premiership-winning one. The Eels have money to spend after releasing Kieran Foran and missing out on Jarryd Hayne, and Desira has the task of finding a gun No.7 to partner Corey Norman in the halves. Arthur is managed by PSM and has a strong relationship with Desira through that association.

I'll trust in BA's judgement but im not sure on this one, is Matt 10th or 29th choice for this job?
Looks like its his first go at such a role too for a club, i'll trust in Brad here.

Matt looks like he's been smacked in the snorkel with the Grey Nicolls 200 odd times, god love him.
LOL Hes as green as we could get but everybody has to start somewhere i suppose, but i agree, im a bit worried at this appointment but hoping Matt steps up and gets the business done, welcome aboard Matt
Con - unknown, unheard of, rookie in the field.
Let's hope whoever we appoint as head of football operations is vastly experienced and of high quality.
Well Baz it looks like a backward step but sometimes its those ones that turn out to be the best move.
When we signed Brad i thought we needed a seasoned coach with runs on the board in a winning culture to dig us out of our mess, nothing against Brad but i thought we needed more experience, Brad proved me wrong so im going to give Matt a good go before i judge him, but yes he looks very green and im trusting in brad that he's chosen a bloke who has a very good eye and who is very shrewd and smart, anybody know how old Matt is?
